This afternoon, we will have the Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru which will be the 33rd Match of Pepsi IPL 2015. It is expected to be a high intensity contest as generally both these sides have played quality cricket so far. This RCB vs KKR match will begin at 4:00 pm IST. RCB are certainly the favourites to win this match against KKR as on paper they are certainly stronger than the latter. But Kolkata Knight Riders have the spirit and talent to topple any opposition but their X factor – Sunil Narine is certain to be out of action.

Kolkata Knight Riders are well placed at the third position with four wins, three defeats and a ‘no result’ in 8 matches so far. Royal Challengers Bangalore have some catching up to do as they are placed at the fifth position in the IPL 2015 Points Table. Having said that the RCB have just started to peak and they are blessed with world class players in Chris Gayle, Captain Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Mitchell Starc. So far RCB have seen mixed results with three wins, three losses and a ‘no result’ in 7 matches so far in IPL 8.

RCB’s last game was against the Rajasthan Royals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium which we know was washed out. Royal Challengers Bangalore brought up a tremendous batting show to pile up 200 on the board before weather ruined their chances of getting two points. Kolkata Knight Riders like their Captain Gautam Gambhir are a highly unpredictable side – sometimes they blow hot and sometimes they blow cold. But overall they are doing quite well as a unit and the confidence of winning two IPL titles is very much in the players. KKR’s last game against CSK gave them a wonderful result through a comprehensive 7-wicket win which was scripted by Robin Uthappa and Andre Russell.
